Blood Donation Camp
Every year, Uttaran organizes a blood donation camp to support our local healthcare system and raise awareness about the importance of donating blood.
The camp remains open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and we work with trained medical professionals to ensure a safe and hygienic donation process. We also provide refreshments and other amenities for donors to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, the blood donation camp is a huge success every year, and we are proud to support our local hospitals by providing a vital resource that can save lives.
Cloth Distribution Camp
Access to clothing is a basic need for individuals and families, yet many struggle to meet this need. Uttaran aims to address this issue by organizing an annual cloth distribution camp to provide clothing to those in need. We work with local communities and social workers to identify those who could benefit from our support, and distribute new and gently used clothing items to them free of charge.
We aim to help individuals and families who are struggling to meet their basic needs and improve their quality of life. we urge people to donate their old clothes so that we can distribute them to those in need. By doing so, we not only help to address the issue of clothing insecurity but also promote sustainable practices. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers, the cloth distribution camp is a huge success every year, and we are proud to support our community in this way.
Rakhi Bandhan
Rakhi Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the bond between siblings. It is traditionally celebrated by sisters tying a Rakhi (sacred thread) on their brother’s wrists, signifying their love and protection for each other. We celebrate Rakhi Bandhan every year by organizing events that promote sibling love and bonding. We distribute Rakhis, sweets, and gifts to orphaned and underprivileged children, making them feel loved and cared for. Through this event, we also create awareness about the importance of sibling relationships and foster a sense of community spirit.
Special Lunch on Special Days
Uttaran is committed to organizing lunch programs for underprivileged individuals, including children and poor beggars, on special occasions like birthdays. Thanks to the support of individuals who share our vision, we can put a smile on the faces of those in need by providing a hearty meal. We are grateful to those who have celebrated their happiest moments with us by sponsoring the expense of lunch. Through their efforts, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of the undernourished people we serve.
