UTTARAN
Uttaran is a non-commercial and non-governmental organization that has been founded with the vision to create a better society by addressing some of the most pressing issues facing vulnerable populations. We believe in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty and provide access to opportunities that can transform lives. That’s why we work tirelessly to provide scholarships, educational programs, and resources to underprivileged children and adults.
We also understand the importance of basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. Through our food distribution and clothing drives, we ensure that individuals and families have access to these necessities. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched an oxygen service and sanitizing program to provide support to those in need.

Blood Donation Camp
Every year, Uttaran organizes a blood donation camp to support our local healthcare system and raise awareness about the importance of donating blood. The camp remains open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds,

Grocery and food are necessities of life. Access to nutritious and sufficient food is essential for maintaining good health and well-being, and lack of access can lead to hunger, malnutrition, and various health problems.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, face masks and hand soap have become essential items in preventing the spread of the virus. Wearing a face mask and practicing good hand hygiene can significantly reduce the risk of contracting or transmitting the virus.

Tree plantation
To promote reforestation and ecological conservation, Uttaran has launched a tree plantation and sapling distribution program in Dewandighi, Purba Bardhaman. The program involves distributing 100 saplings to nearby areas of Bardhaman Block 1
